The ability to channel Reiki is passed on to the Reiki student by the Reiki Master during an attunement process. It is a powerful technique which can be learned easily by anyone, no previous experience of healing is necessary. By becoming a student of Reiki you begin a journey of self discovery embracing that which restores harmony and brings light, beauty and knowledge of who you truly are. Hilary offers hour long Reiki sessions of healing. As a Usui Reiki Master, Hilary also attunes people to Reiki energy which she believes is one of the greatest gifts she can give to anyone. She usually works in pairs or small groups. With her Shiatsu and general healing experience Hilary can introduce students to differing areas of particular personal interest.
The teaching of each of these levels takes place over a weekend. Usually a period of 6 - 9 months is required for personal growth in between each of the levels. |
It is the consciousness called Rei which guides the life force called Ki in the practice we call Reiki. Reiki is a Japanese system of natural healing based on channelling healing energy through the hands. It has its own intelligence and does not need to be guided by the practitioner. Reiki communicates with the recipient’s higher self and, with this information, flows to where it is most needed at a rate that is most appropriate for the client.
