ABOUT SOUND

The use of Sound as a healing tool dates back thousands of years. Now, the field of sound healing is gaining considerable attention, as sound pioneers promote the healing benefits of music, tones, song and instruments.  We all know that music either makes us feel happy or sad, it usually lifts our spirits.  We know when we have heard a live concert or group that we come out in a state of bliss. Music or Sound is vibration and in the healing connection it is vibrating throughout our bodies and our deepest cellular stucture to create harmony and wellbeing.  It breaks through and cuts like a sword into our deepest and oldest patterns.

Sound is a key to human connection and understanding. The principle of SOUND HEALTH AND SOUND ENERGETICS is that our voices are a reflection and map of our own well being and energetic vibration. Both processes  provide simple but profound tools to make real sustainable changes in individual health, relationships and life patterns, bringing about a natural state of empowerment and authenticity. It is suitable for individuals from all walks of life who are seeking changes in their lives and a new way of expressing themselves in the world.

Through the container of structured singing and movement practices, which connect deep into the body and psyche, and unstructured practices which lead to the freely expressed authentic voice, people make their own journey of self discovery and personal enquiry. Hilary tailor-makes her work to accommodate the needs of individuals and organisations. The work is presented as a series of half day, one day or two day workshops. Hilary's training in the "listening" field ensures a comfortable and empathic space in which people:

  • Break free of patterns of behaviour which no longer serve
  • Find their voice and inner wisdom
  • Free themselves from self judgement
  • Improve self esteem, personal wellbeing
